Twitter Account Suspended

TweetadderI have been experimenting with  using the tweetadder (an affiliate link) to get more twitter followers. It has been amazingly helpful, however, recently I was “suspended” by Twitter for what they call “Aggressive Following”. Bellow is our corruspondence after my Madman of Magic twitter account was suspended.

White Hat or Black Hat SEO – Let’s Settle This

The views expressed in this article are those of my own and not necessarily those of  Niche Site Journal or its members.

Let me be clear on a couple of things before I begin. This is not going to be a black vs white hat debate in terms of which is more effective. I simply want to clarify the differences between the two sides, without telling you which is better or which you should use.

If you aren’t familiar with the terms, “white hat SEO” is referring to the process of organically optimizing your website for search engines, in the hopes of them ranking your website high in their search results in return. Of course “black hat SEO” would be any tactics that try to trick or deceive search engines into thinking your website is of worth and rank you favourably in return.

Did you see what I said there? [Read more…]

Niche Site Journal 2.0 – Week 1

This week I was only able to put in 5.5 hours to work on the Niche Site (not including master mind meetings). This had a lot to do with the fact I was working to get the Niche Site Journal Podcast up on itunes.

Also, I have been working on making changes to this blog. The current theme I’m using is really awful. I love the look, but it has so many problems I need to find a new one; which takes time. Something I am always limited on.

Enough excuses, let’s look at some numbers.

Niche Site Journal 2.0 – Week 0

I’m getting ready for the Niche Site Duel 2.0 with Pat Flynn. Like last time, I will be posting weekly updates on my progress. I also joined a Master Mind group with two other online entrepreneurs and we will be recording our meeting for your enjoyment and education (Listen to episode 1).

Week 0 (zero) was all about choosing the perfect niche site.

Before committing to a niche site I took a few days to look at possible keywords. It wasn’t till I found something that fit all my criteria that I decided I would take part in the Niche Site Journal 2.0.

Niche Site Mistake #1: Niche Selection

You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake.

You are not special.

The problems you’re facing right now have been experienced by many people before you.

And guess what? They’ve all been answered before.

Getting Things Done

You may not believe this, but I have a hard time dealing with Time Management.

I know what your thinking, “I don’t believe it Jason, you post so randomly and without warning, I assumed you had it all together.”

The reality is I’m a procrastinator and jump around from project to project through out the day and sometimes throughout the hour.

I have an un-diagnosed case of adult ADD, live in a chaotic environment (I’m currently watching my 3 month old while writing this), and get  a weird enjoyment out of the feeling of urgency.

With my hope to update this blog once or twice a week, update the blog every week day, and continue working on my niche site, I realize I need to come up with a better time management system.

Last night I read: [Read more…]

Niche Site Journal for January 2013

My last post on my Niche Site experience was almost 3 months ago. A lot has happened since then not relating to the Niche Site.

As many of you know, my wife gave birth to our first child and my wife, we ran a successful Kickstarter campaign and printed our first comic book.

In other words, we have been insanely busy.

This is why I hope to master niche sites. The opportunity to work on my art and spend time with my family with out worrying about money would be a dream come true. That is why I am trying to make this work and build a passive income portfolio.

Quick Lesson

Make sure you know why you want to make passive income through Niche Sites. It makes the long hours and lonely nights more bearable.

Thank You to
